New Online Training Course from PublicSchoolWORKS Approved by California Department of Pesticide Regulation

Districts in California can now take PublicSchoolWORKS’ new training course to meet requirements mandated by the California Healthy Schools Act

Cincinnati, OH (October 6, 2016) — Public school districts and childcare centers in California are held to high standards for pesticide use and the dissemination of information about their use under the California Healthy Schools Act (HSA). All staff that use pesticides are required to complete one hour of training annually, however, they can only take courses that are approved by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR). To help California districts easily meet this HSA requirement, PublicSchoolWORKS created the “Healthy Schools Act” online training course, which has been approved by the California DPR.
