Vernier Launches New Go Direct™ Sensors with Built-In Wireless and USB Connectivity for Data Collection

Family of 16 sensors can be used with free Graphical Analysis™ 4 app from Vernier and more than 190 teacher-tested science and STEM experiments

BEAVERTON, Oregon, February 7, 2017 – As technology evolves, U.S. schools are choosing a variety of low-cost computing platforms for student instruction including personal computers, Chromebook™ devices, tablets, and more. In response to educators’ needs, Vernier Software & Technology launched the Go Direct™ family of sensors to offer teachers and students maximum versatility to collect scientific data either wirelessly or via a USB connection. The 16 new low-cost sensors, which are designed primarily for chemistry, physical science, and middle school science, can be used in more than 190 teacher-tested experiments developed by Vernier and are supported by free graphing and analysis software, Graphical Analysis™ 4 app.
